Here’s the biggest so-called secret you should never fall for: the idea of being a true Christian or a true believer—just don’t buy into it at all.

Please don’t go down the path I once did, claiming to be a man of God. They’ll try to get you to believe in “I Just Want To Know Jesus,” but that’s where the mystery of iniquity begins—don’t fall for it. If anything starts with “I Just,” don’t trust it. They want you caught up in the mystery of iniquity, controlling it, and pushing you to believe in it when you shouldn’t at all. The real takeaway is this: don’t step into faith like that, don’t believe, don’t do it. This is about controlling you, not making you stronger. It’s not good—don’t pile up sorrows by having faith in that way. Though I once said to have faith and believe, I now see it’s not a good idea, and you need to remember that.
