Something I’ve learned in deliverance is that renaming demons matters, no matter who they are. A smart way to do this is to demote them—if they’re a king or queen demon, rename them to something like “basic incubus” or “basic succubus.” You can literally say, “I rename you,” using your authority. It’s pretty simple. You can also use synonyms like “regular succubus” or “regular incubus” to strip them of titles. They may call themselves “queen this” or “king that,” but you can stop that. If they’re a strongman or strongwoman, you need to handle it carefully and do it right.
