I believe we often overlook the fact that, as a youth, Jesus Christ kept the statutes of the Old Testament and fulfilled them all. People tend to say these laws don’t apply to His life, but His purpose was to do what no man could—fulfill the law perfectly, living blameless and sinless. Throughout His life, He completed everything, truly obeying and accomplishing the entire law without sin. He even offered certain sacrifices to fulfill all requirements. Yet many still claim no one could fulfill the law, failing to realize that He did, even as He was called a winebibber and a friend of publicans and sinners.
